Marks & Spencer are the number one provider of womenswear and lingerie in the UK, and are rapidly growing their market share in menswear, kidswear and home, due in part to their growing online business. Overall, Marks & Spencer clothing and homeware sales account for 49% of the business. The other 51% of Marks & Spencer's business is in food, where they sell everything from fresh produce and groceries, to partly-prepared meals and ready meals.

Now more than ever, Marks & Spencer are also known for their green credentials as a result of their five-year eco plan, Plan A, which will see them, amongst other things, become carbon neutral and send no waste to landfill by 2012.

Marks & Spencer has long been a firm UK favourite; their knickers became legendary when certain British starlets in Hollywood would rave about them and actually get them shipped out to the States!  Long gone are the days when Marks & Spencer was seen, perhaps, as selling ready meals and clothes for the older lady.  Their gourmet meals are of the finest quality and easy to prepare for today's busy professionals, and of course you can still buy "ingredients" and cook for yourselves!  Their range of clothing and homeware have been updated to include fashionable, practical and reasonably priced items for men, women and children.  M&S online now sell electrical items (such as TV's and MP3 players) to complement their range of furniture and homewares, as well as books, CD's and DVD's.  Marks & Spencer really has become a "one stop shop"!  We've always loved Marks & Spencer's quality and are so glad to be able to browse their fabulous range online!
